Feedbacks from the pilot sites
As you know our PA4AGE platform has been tested with professionals from each pilot site precisely between Italy, Greece and Germany.
In following these charts you can read some information about the participants.
Treviso – ISRAA
Participants in the platform test of the Treviso pilot site, run by ISRAA, were mainly physical therapy professionals who also work with people over 65. These participants gave varied feedback on the platform from the quality of the training content, and the attractiveness of the platform. However, there were also some criticisms since often many of the notions were already known, but still they could be deepened and considered a good tool for informal caregivers who are not from the profession. Among the most notable requests was to include more group exercises and directions for doing these types of exercises.
FZ-Greece
FRONTIDA ZOIS enrolled 12 learners (formal and informal caregivers) into the two pilot phases (6 in the first pilot phase and 6 in the second).
The whole experience was evaluated very positively, and the general consensus was that this kind of training material is missing, as it can enrich the everyday services of caregivers and allow them to introduce older beneficiaries to new contexts as it is physical activity.
Some of participants' observations focused on the change of behavior mechanism which seems to need a closer approach in terms of better and more meticulous preparation of the caregiver, in order to deliver substantial changes.
Also, learners expressed their preference for the course to have even more audiovisual material, stating that this way the training material becomes more accessible and applicable.
University of Münster - Germany
UniMS enrolled 23 learners (informal carers) into the two pilot phases (12 in the first pilot phase and 11 in the second). Generally, these participants gave mostly positive feedback on the platform functionalities (e.g., interactive videos, good learning input). However, criticism was bought up about repeated topics and the provided information was too long. Suggestions for improvement were, a better horizontal overview, replacing of some visualizations, higher front sizes, some spelling errors corrections, less text. The feedback helped to improve the platform content and visualization.
